To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'FiReWall' = '%WINDIR%\J_Y.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\J_Y.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Autorun.inf
Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
Creates and executes the following:
- %WINDIR%\J_Y.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- C:\SysTem Volume.exe
- %WINDIR%\J_Y.exe
- <SYSTEM32>.ini
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\J_Y.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Autorun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>.ini
Deletes the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\J_Y.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Autorun.inf
- C:\SysTem Volume.exe

UDP:
- DNS ASK j-#.#o-ip.info
