Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] 'Shell' = 'Explorer.exe csrcs.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\Run] 'csrcs' = '<SYSTEM32>\csrcs.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices] 'csrcs' = '<SYSTEM32>\csrcs.exe'
Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
Creates and executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\csrcs.exe'
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %TEMP%\aut2.tmp
- %TEMP%\rywgibj
- <SYSTEM32>\csrcs.exe
- %TEMP%\aut1.tmp
- %TEMP%\kyozcnh
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\csrcs.exe
Deletes the following files:
- %TEMP%\aut2.tmp
- %TEMP%\rywgibj
- %TEMP%\aut1.tmp
- %TEMP%\kyozcnh
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Shell_TrayWnd' WindowName: ''
