To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Virus' = '%HOMEPATH%\My Documents\Security Log.exe'
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Trojan' = '<Full path to virus>'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Security Log.exe
Malicious functions:
Terminates or attempts to terminate
the following user processes:
- opera.exe
- firefox.exe
- iexplore.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\My Documents\Security Log.exe
- %WINDIR%\Temp\Adobe Flash\Security Log.exe
- %WINDIR%\Temp\Microsoft Windows\Security Log.exe
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: ''
