Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'ctfm.exe' = '%WINDIR%\svchost.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\folder.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- %WINDIR%\svchost.exe
Executes the following:
- %WINDIR%\explorer.exe <Current directory>
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- C:\folder.exe
- C:\autorun.inf
- %WINDIR%\svchost.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\folder.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- C:\folder.exe
- C:\autorun.inf
Deletes the following files:
- %TEMP%\~DFE52C.tmp
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: ''
- ClassName: '' WindowName: ''
