To ensure autorun and distribution:
Substitutes the following executable system files:
- <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\explorer.exe with <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\explorer.exe.new
- %WINDIR%\explorer.exe with %TEMP%\explorer.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <Full path to virus>
- %TEMP%\explorer.exe
Moves the following system files:
- from %WINDIR%\explorer.exe to %TEMP%\~tm1.tmp
Moves the following files:
- from <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\explorer.exe.new to <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\explorer.exe
- from %WINDIR%\explorer.exe.new to %WINDIR%\explorer.exe
Moves itself:
- from <Full path to virus> to %TEMP%\~tm2.tmp.~tm
