- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '1ce5c21bd74c042cdcd945e699c951c5' = '"%TEMP%\winrar.exe" ..'
Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%TEMP%\winrar.exe' = '%TEMP%\winrar.exe:*:Enabled:winrar.exe'
Creates and executes the following:
- '%TEMP%\winrar.exe'
- 'C:\Extracted\++new2+.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%TEMP%\winrar.exe" "winrar.exe" ENABLE
- '<SYSTEM32>\rundll32.exe' <SYSTEM32>\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen C:\Extracted\cheer-up-4.jpg
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\enterprisesec.config.cch.new
- %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\security.config.cch.new
- %HOMEPATH%\Recent\Extracted.lnk
- %HOMEPATH%\Recent\cheer-up-4.lnk
- C:\Extracted\++new2+.exe
- %TEMP%\sfx.ini
- %TEMP%\winrar.exe
- C:\Extracted\cheer-up-4.jpg
Deletes the following files:
- %TEMP%\sfx.ini
Moves the following files:
- from %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\enterprisesec.config.cch.new to %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\enterprisesec.config.cch
