- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'b0e00e291dd1798b8adbf1aa82bc01aa' = '"%APPDATA%\IMG.exe" ..'
Creates or modifies the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\b0e00e291dd1798b8adbf1aa82bc01aa.exe
Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%APPDATA%\IMG.exe' = '%APPDATA%\IMG.exe:*:Enabled:IMG.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '<SYSTEM32>\wscript.exe' = '<SYSTEM32>\wscript.exe:*:Enabled:wscript.exe'
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
blocks the following features:
- User Account Control (UAC)
Creates and executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\IMG.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\wscript.exe' "%APPDATA%\IMG.vbe"
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "<SYSTEM32>\wscript.exe" "wscript.exe" ENABLE
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%APPDATA%\IMG.exe" "IMG.exe" ENABLE
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\IMG.vbe
- %APPDATA%\Microsoft\CLR Security Config\v2.0.50727.42\security.config.cch.new
- %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\enterprisesec.config.cch.new
- %APPDATA%\IMG.exe
- %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\security.config.cch.new
Deletes the following files:
- %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\enterprisesec.config.cch.2820.196890
