Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%TEMP%\WIN32.scr' = '%TEMP%\WIN32.scr:*:Enabled:WIN32.scr'
Creates and executes the following:
- '%TEMP%\WIN32.scr' /S
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%TEMP%\WIN32.scr" "WIN32.scr" ENABLE
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %TEMP%\WIN32.scr
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'ma####.no-ip.org':1177
UDP:
- DNS ASK ma####.no-ip.org
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Shell_TrayWnd' WindowName: '(null)'
