- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'f9be75c5023d5e25b0bbaa6b68899d2b' = '"%TEMP%\firefox.exe" ..'
Creates or modifies the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\f9be75c5023d5e25b0bbaa6b68899d2b.exe
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\f9be75c5023d5e25b0bbaa6b68899d2b.exe
Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%TEMP%\firefox.exe' = '%TEMP%\firefox.exe:*:Enabled:firefox.exe'
Creates and executes the following:
- '%TEMP%\firefox.exe'
- '%TEMP%\115.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%TEMP%\firefox.exe" "firefox.exe" ENABLE
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %TEMP%\firefox.exe
- %TEMP%\115.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\f9be75c5023d5e25b0bbaa6b68899d2b.exe
