To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] 'shell' = 'explorer.exe <SYSTEM32>\<Virus name>.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\<Virus name>.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\<Virus name>.exe'
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\autorun.ini
- <SYSTEM32>\processlist.txt
- <SYSTEM32>\<Virus name>.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\KHMHGZ4F\sever[1].txt
- <Current directory>\1.txt
Deletes the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\processlist.txt
- <Current directory>\1.txt
