Malicious functions:
Launches itself as a daemon
Substitutes application name for:
- systemd
Launches processes:
- crontab -l
- iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --dport 21757 -j ACCEPT
- /usr/sbin/xtables-nft-multi iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --dport 21757 -j ACCEPT
- crontab -
- echo \x22@reboot <SAMPLE_FULL_PATH>\x22 | crontab -
Kills the following processes:
- <SAMPLE>
Performs operations with the file system:
Modifies file access rights:
- /var/spool/cron/crontabs/tmp.UL3dqf
Creates or modifies files:
- /var/spool/cron/crontabs/tmp.UL3dqf
Changes time of creation/access/modification of files:
- /var/spool/cron/crontabs
