Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'CD' = '"%APPDATA%\PROFESIONALTOOL.exe"'
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'CD' = '"%TEMP%\PROFESIONALTOOL.exe"'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\usb.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- %APPDATA%\PROFESIONALTOOL.exe
- %TEMP%\PROFESIONALTOOL.exe
Executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\rundll32.exe url.dll,FileProtocolHandler %APPDATA%\PROFESIONALTOOL.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %TEMP%\CFPRO.DLL
- %APPDATA%\PROFESIONALTOOL.exe
- %TEMP%\PROFESIONALTOOL.exe
- %TEMP%\sfx.ini
- %TEMP%\PROFESSIONAL TOOL.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\usb.exe
Deletes the following files:
- %TEMP%\sfx.ini
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: ''
