To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Program file' = '<SYSTEM32>\progmon.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Internt' = '<SYSTEM32>\internt.exe'
Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\internt.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\progmon.exe
- C:\setup.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\IME\svchost.exe
- C:\AutoRun.inf
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- C:\setup.exe
- C:\AutoRun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>\IME\svchost.exe
